Rocky T. Lee, partner in the Beijing office and head of DLA Piper's Venture Capital and Private Equity Practice in Asia, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of China Entrepreneurs (CE), a non-profit organisation with over 3,000 professional investors and entrepreneurs. Lee will help the entrepreneurial community foster ideas and expand in China, building on his expertise in various China legal and business topics.

“Rocky is a leader in the growth of venture capital in China, advising some of the most well-known China venture capitalists and working with companies from dynamic sectors such as high technology,” said Alastair Da Costa, Asia managing director of DLA Piper. The appointment will strengthen the firm's business relationship with entrepreneurs, investors and venture capitals facing business and legal challenges in China market, he added.
