Beijing-headquartered law firm Broad & Bright announced that John Chu and Lawrence Guo have joined the firm as partners. Together with Chu and Guo, the firm now has nine partners in total.
A founding partner of Jun He Law Offices in 1989, Chu was also a visiting associate of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York and later an in-house counsel to General Motors. He specializes in investment, financing and corporate matters including joint ventures, corporate management and governance, and technology license.
Guo was a practitioner with O'Melveny & Myers in Shanghai and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Beijing, and has also served in the PRC Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
