Employers in Guangzhou required to file records of new employment within 30 days with the relevant authority.

Effective: for five years beginning from July 1 2008

Main Contents: Employers shall conclude written employment contracts with workers whom they have recruited. Upon the conclusion of a written employment contract, the employer shall give a copy of the contract to the worker, who shall confirm it by signing on the Form for Increase and Reduction in Employment of Workers and in Personnel Subject to Social Insurance of Guangzhou City. Employers shall, within 30 days of recruitment of workers, complete record filing of the employment and employment registration for the workers with the employment service organization (Article 9).
