Lovells has opened a domestic trademark agency in China. The agency will operate under the name Lovells (Shanghai) Trademark Agency Co., Ltd. The new agency, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm's Hong Kong office, is qualified to file trademark applications and handle trademark as well as other intellectual property enforcement actions on behalf of clients.

Zhen Feng, a senior associate, will be the general manager and legal representative of the agency, while Deanna Wong will be a consultant who manages prosecution practice of the agency.
