Main Contents: The revised Law includes a newly added Article 6, which states that the state may, for the public interest, expropriate the premises of work units and individuals on state-owned land, and grant compensation for demolition and relocation in accordance with the law to protect the lawful rights and interests of the owners of the expropriated premises. In the case of expropriation of individuals' residences, the living conditions of the owner of the expropriated residence shall be protected. The specific measures shall be stipulated by the State Council.
