Main Contents: A franchiser shall, within 15 days from the date of entering into its first Franchise contract, carry out record filing procedures with the department in charge of commerce in accordance herewith. If it is to engage in franchising activities within a province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the central government, it shall carry out record filing procedures with the department in charge of commerce of the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the central government where it is located. If it is to engage in franchising activities across provinces, autonomous regions and/or municipalities directly under the central government, it shall carry out record filing procedures with the State Council's department in charge of commerce.
