Main Contents: Subject to approval, mainland financial institutions may issue renminbi financial bonds in Hong Kong. Funds raised may be remitted to mainland financial institutions with renminbi business qualifications via clearing banks for renminbi business in Hong Kong. Bond issuing institutions may remit renminbi to Hong Kong for the payment of coupons and repayment of principal (Article 1).
