Michael Moser has been elected chairman of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, of which he has been a member for the past 16 years. He is also co-chair of the China Arbitration Forum, and a member of the panel of arbitrators of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).

Moser has lived in China since 1980, and was the first foreign national to be appointed as an arbitrator in China. He has also been a consultant for China Law & Practice since its first issue in February 1987.

Moser is currently a partner and the China practice co-chair at O'Melveny & Myers.
