In a draft policy paper released for industry comment by the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), China aims to develop at least 10 accountancy firms that will be globally recognized and capable of providing comprehensive international standards of service within the next decade. The institute would like to reduce domestic companies' reliance on foreign accountancy firms.
