These Measures specify the scope of applicability, the requirements/application/procedures for advance recovery of the investments of foreign partners in Sino-foreign joint ventures.

Article 1: These Measures have been formulated pursuant to the relevant provisions of the PRC Sino-foreign Cooperative Joint Venture Law, the PRC Administrative Licensing Law and the Implementing Rules for the PRC Sino-foreign Cooperative Joint Venture Law in order to regulate the examination and approval of the advance recovery of the investments of foreign partners in Sino-foreign cooperative joint ventures (Advance Recovery).
