Main contents: In the case of a traffic accident involving a motor vehicle covered by compulsory third-party liability insurance for motor vehicles, if the rescue requires the insurance company to pay the medical fee involved, the traffic administration department of the public security authority shall inform the insurance company (Article 90). The traffic administration department of the public security authority shall determine the liability of the parties concerned according to the effect of the parties' conduct on the traffic accident and the gravity of the fault (Article 91). The party who runs away after the traffic accident shall bear all the liability; however, such liability may be mitigated if there is evidence that the other party is also at fault (Article 92).
