Main content: It is now stipulated that arbitrators are not allowed to act as a representative in any case accepted by the Beijing Arbitration Commission (Article 9). Specific contents are given concerning the disclosure by arbitrators (Article 5). More stringent requirements are set forth on the independence and fairness of arbitrators (Articles 4 and 7). It is for the first time stated that arbitrators shall act in good faith (Article 3).
