Main contents: Article 2 of the Guidelines is amended to require a summary of the prospectus for the rights issue and a summary of the letter of intent for the additional offering. Article 9 is newly added specifying the requirements for formulation and disclosure of such summaries. An application for offer of new shares may require re-approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission if, before the disclosure of the prospectus for the offer of new shares, a discrepancy is found between the prospectus and the documents submitted for approval or additional matters need to be disclosed (Article 7).
