Main contents: The Beijing office of a government or an enterprise from outside Beijing shall be called a "Beijing Liaison Office" or "Beijing Representative Office". A provincial, prefectural city or county level government and an enterprise of a district level in China may establish one non-profit Beijing office (Articles 5 and 6). The Provisions also set out the necessary office condition and procedures for establishment of such an office (Part Three). A Beijing office may apply for "Beijing Work and Resident Permits" or "Temporary Beijing Resident Permits" for its working personnel. The provisions also set out preferential policies regarding accommodation, use of vehicles, business travels, continuous education, professional training, qualification assessment, social insurance, housing common reserve, etc. of those working personnel.
