Main contents: The Measures specify the requirements for establishment of law firms in Beijing, for instance, with assets worth at least Rmb100,000 and three applicants of professional lawyers. The Measures also detail the establishment, amendment and cancellation registration Measures. The restrictions on the applicants have also been relaxed. If a practising lawyer possesses a Master's degree or higher or if the municipality urgently requires legal professionals, an applicant practising lawyer not registered in Beijing does not need to have practised in the municipality for a year in order to be eligible (Article 3). The time limit for verification for establishment registration is stipulated to be 26 working days while those for the amendment and cancellation registrations are stipulated to be 10 working days (Articles 6, 11 and 20)
