Main contents: Appended to the Notice is a list of administrative examinations and approvals that are no longer required, for instance:
- preliminary examination of the establishment of, and permission of the extension of, representative offices in China of foreign securities institutions, as well as the preliminary examination of leading/chief representatives of such offices;
- preliminary examination of, and permission, preliminary examination and examination and approval of the extension of, the foreign investment share business qualification of domestic securities companies;
- preliminary examination of the share distribution and lead share distribution business qualification of securities companies;
- preliminary examination and examination and approval of the establishment of securities investment consultancy institutions;
- examination and approval of the qualifications to engage in securities legal services by law firms and lawyers;
- record filing of foreign law firms assisting Chinese companies to issue, list and trade shares overseas; and
- examination and approval of the qualifications of securities law firms dealing in the business of overseas issuing and listing shares of overseas companies with interests in mainland China.
