Guangdong Province, High and New Technology Industry Development Zones Administrative Measures

Interpreting authority: Provincial science and technology administrative department
Applicability: The Administrative Measures apply to organizations and individual within a high and new technology industry development zone (Technology Zone) as well as organizations and individuals outside a Technology Zone but engaged in activities related to the Administrative Measures in the zone (Item Two, Section One).

Main contents: The Administrative Measures set forth principles, requirements, objectives and missions for Technology Zones. The Administrative Measures also include provisions on capital input and supporting policies. Venture investment organizations registered and established in a Technology Zone that have put at least 50% of their investments in high and new technology enterprises or projects may be recognized as high and new technology enterprises and enjoy State preferential policies such as the right to import and export for their own account (Items Two and Four, Section Six).
