Applicability: The Measures are applicable to the invitation and submission of tenders for construction project legal persons of the National Sports Stadium, the National Sports Gymnasium, the National Swimming Centre, the Exhibition Centre, the Olympic Village and the ancillary commercial facilities thereof, the Wukesong Cultural and Sports Centre and the Olympic Water Park. New, retrofitting and expansion Olympic construction projects to be carried in Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang, Qingdao and Qinghuangdao shall refer to these Measures.
Main contents: The Measures state that the Beijing municipal government and the relevant district/county governments under it are the tender inviting entities in the tendering of the construction projects related to the Olympic Games (Section 2.1). Section Three of the Measures specifies details for each stage of tendering: invitation of tenders, submission of tenders, opening of tenders, evaluation of tenders and determination of the winning tenderer.
