Main contents: Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) is in charge of the administration of certification and accreditation works in respect of HACCP management systems and the publication of "Products That Require HACCP Management System Review for Export Food Hygiene Registration Catalogue" (the Catalogue) (Article 4). Enterprises listed in the Catalogue must set up and implement HACCP management systems (Article 2). Enterprises that have set up and implemented HACCP management systems may apply for certification of their HACCP management systems by CNCA-approved certification institutions (Articles 9 and 12). Exit and entry inspection and quarantine institutions shall carry out verification of the HACCP management systems if the relevant enterprises are listed in the Catalogue and if a relevant foreign institution requests a HACCP verification certificate (Article 14). CNCA shall handle complaints from foreign food administrations and other relevant organizations with regard to HACCP verification of Chinese enterprises (Article 18). The Provisions also set out the basic requirements for setting up and operating the HACCP management system (Part Two).
