Foreign-invested companies are governed by the PRC Administration of Company Registration Regulations in terms of company registration procedures.

Main contents: The Reply states that foreign investment enterprises violating regulations on company registration should be dealt with in accordance with the PRC, Administration of Company Registration Regulations. According to the Reply, "completion of company registration" means finishing the procedures for getting legal person status or business entity status as well as completing other registration procedures (Item Two). Item Three stipulates that revocation of registration for change of a company does not directly affect the company legal person status. Branch offices approved to be established on the strength of change of registration should also be revoked where such change of registration of a company has been revoked (Item Four).
