Telecommunications Regulatory Bureau of Ministry of Information Industry, Administration of Sampling for Telecommunications Equipment Network Connection Testing Provisions

Promulgated: June 25 2001
Applicability: The Provisions apply to the sampling and sample delivery procedures when undertaking telecommunications equipment network connection testing (Article 2).

Main contents: Manufacturers with quality system certification that covers network connection application can send samples in accordance with Appendix One of the Provisions (Article 3). Manufacturers without quality certification, or with quality certification that does not include network connection application, must undergo sample testing conducted by the communications administration of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the central government (Article 4). Sampling must be completed within 15 days (Article 7). The sampling team and the manufacturer jointly package and seal the samples for delivery to the testing organization (Article 8). The manufacturer must deliver the sealed samples to the testing organization within 15 days (Article 9).
