Shanghai Municipality Further Encouraging the Development of the Software and Integrated Circuit Industries in Pudong New Area Several Opinions

Main contents: The Opinions specifically encourage foreign and domestic investors to set up institutions in Pudong to invest in integrated circuit and software industries (Article 5). Government support to integrated circuit and software enterprises takes the form of various preferential tax policies and financial support (Parts Three and Four). Imports and exports by such enterprises are also encouraged with special customs measures (Part Five). Logistic support in the form of preferential building rents and leasehold fees and conveniences for personnel relocation and overseas travel is also provided (Parts Six and Seven).
