Interpreting authority: State Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine
Main contents: According to the Procedures, a Country of Origin Marking Office is set up under the State Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine to handle applications for registration of country of origin marks and other administration work related to country of origin markings (Article 2). The Procedures specify the materials to be submitted when one applies for registration of country of origin marks and the principles and criteria for approving such application (Articles 7 and 8). Registered country of origin marks are certified country of origin marks (Article 13). The forms and types of certified country of origin marks and the methods of displaying such marks are also set out in the Procedures (Articles 14 and 15).
