Main contents: The Circular prohibits the use of a news format to publish or broadcast or in a disguised manner publish or broadcast advertisements. Interviews with persons and features on enterprises may not include such advertising type content as addresses, telephone numbers or contact details. When publishing an article, newspapers and periodicals may not publish advertisements advertising the goods, services or manufacturer of the subject of the article in the same medium at the same time. Introducing or promoting the sale of pharmaceuticals or health foods or recommending doctors or medical institutions in the guise of promoting scientific knowledge or professional advice is prohibited (Item Seven).
