Applicability: The scope of project survey qualifications includes geotechnical projects, hydrogeological project surveys and project surveys (Part One, Section Two). The Standards do not apply to the classification of marine project survey qualifications (Part Four, Section One).
Main contents: Under the Standards, there are three categories of project survey qualifications. They are Comprehensive Category, Specialist Category and Labour Service Category, covering respectively all project survey specializations, one project survey specialization and labour services such as geotechnical management, project exploration and drilling (Part One, Section Four). The Comprehensive Category only comprises Class A whereas the Specialization Category has both Class A and Class B qualifications.
